Jinxi Group Information Technology Project Launches 

On the morning of June 17, the launch conference of the information technology project of Jinxi Co., Ltd. was held in the lecture hall on the first floor of the Jinxi Co., Ltd. R&D Center. Li Mingdong, executive director of China Oriental Group and vice president of Tianjin Xi Group, attended and delivered a speech. Guo Chunyue, assistant to the financial director of Tianjin Xi Group, conveyed the "Notice of Tianjin Xi Group on the Establishment of the Information Technology Project of Jin Xi Group".

Wu Jinlong, Chairman of ICSC attended and delivered a speech, and Li Jiajun, General Manager of ICSC (Wuhan) introduced the project promotion plan.

Zhao Lixin, general manager of Jinxi Co., Ltd., attended and delivered a speech. Ma Yuyou, executive deputy general manager, presided over the meeting. Han Yakun, deputy general manager, and Wang Hui, director of safety and environmental protection, attended.

More than 300 experts from ICSC, expert consultants of Tianjin Xi Co., Ltd., all middle-level cadres, section chiefs and directors of various units, and representatives of key employees attended the event.

President Li Mingdong said in his speech that the new generation of information technology is reshaping the industrial structure with the wave of digitalization, and the steel industry urgently needs to break through the "pain period" of scale transformation. Information construction is the only way to drive high-end, intelligent and green. It is necessary to stimulate activity with "new fuel", accelerate transformation with "new wheels", and empower upgrades with "new engines".

Li Mingdong pointed out that  ICSC has the advantages of cutting-edge technology in the industry. Jinxi and Xidian cooperate in depth and focus on tackling difficulties. Through strategic linkage, complementary advantages, and node control, it transforms information potential energy into competitive advantages, and strives to build a benchmark enterprise for industry information management.

In his speech, Wu Jinlong said that as a global steel industry exclusive information solution service provider, ICSC's ERP architecture has undergone practical tests from countless companies and is a benchmark in the industry. The steel industry integrates multi-dimensional linkage between production, sales and inventory. It is necessary to focus on production and sales coordination to deepen the integration of industry and finance, and strengthen the cost control of the entire chain. Only by connecting upstream and downstream can we break through the situation and respond.

Wu Jinlong pointed out that steel is a high-end technology field. ICSC (Wuhan)  originated from the information department of Taiwan China Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., is responsible for planning and developing the overall information system of the steel industry that has always been in charge of the steel mill, and is responsible for the later system addition, transformation and operation.

In March 1998, the overall information system of Baosteel (Baoshan Iron and Steel) was successfully launched.  ICSC was established in April 2000, and was responsible for the planning and development of the overall information system of Wuhan Iron and Steel (Wuhan Iron and Steel) Company. The first phase of the launch was well received in 2002.
